In response to the invasion, the United States and allies have issued sanctions, which Russia said will be responded to. United States believes Russia will invade entire country soon. Russia has invaded further into Ukraine, giving recognition to two breakaway provinces and moving military assets into the regions. However, there are events occurring in the world theater which require closer monitoring. There are currently no imminent nuclear threats at this time.
